Sign up now for Club Clinic, July 23-26, 2012

VUSC Champions Clinic


New for 2012, the club will offer players a four-day clinic, running Monday-Thursday, 9am until Noon, at the fields around Westview Elementary and the Hayes Community Center.  Professional Trainers will be onsite to prepare players for tryouts and upcoming fall 2012 season.

Cost is $90 per player, which includes a camp t-shirt.  To sign up your player (and his/her friends), send an email to club volunteer Melanie Cobb at melcobb27@gmail.com.  No registration form will be required, and the $90 fee won't be collected until early June, during the Club's AVIT tournament.

AVHS Eagle Star Camp: June 11-14, 2012 for grades 9-12

This camp is open to boys and girls who will be AVHS students in the fall of 2012.  The camp is co-led by the Chuck Scanlon (Boys Varsity Coach) and Keith Randa (Girls Varsity Coach).  Date/time: June 11-14, 2012 9am-11am at AVHS.  Cost is $70.  See the flyer below for more details.

Note that the flyer says "grades 8-12".  To be specific, current 8th graders who will be 9th graders in fall 2012 are welcome to join.  Kids who are current 7th graders and will be in 8th grade in fall 2012 should wait a year.

Footholde Camp: July 9-13, 2012


Fun and games at Footholde Camps

Every summer, Footholde runs really fun camps all around the metro.  In 2012, the Footholde camp in our area will be held on JULY 9-13, 9AM TO NOON, AT EASTVIEW HS FIELD 14.  

Valley Untied members save $15 when registering, if they use code "vusc15".

Teams can save if they register together.  The team makes a deposit of $250, then each player pays $75 with a check on day 1 of the camp.  For example, if 10 players from a team attend, the net cost is $100 per player.

Coerver Coaching Camps for Summer 2012

Coerver Coaching runs the Club's winter indoor training, and we know that the Coerver methods work for our players.  This year the summer camp trainers feature pro players from the NSC Stars.

The nearest camps are held at the Dakota County Technical College, about 5 minutes east of Rosemount on cte42. There are several camps to choose from:

Bassam Banat Soccer Camp: June 11-15, 2012

You have probably seen Bassam in action at the Blast, at the Dome, or on a Valley United field, because he coaches the VLY GU17C1 team, and he trains the GU14C1-Anger team.  His camp in 2012 runs June 11-15.  See the flyer below for full details.

Apple Valley High School's "Junior Eagle Camp", June 11-14, 2012

This fun camp is an annual tradition, run by the AVHS varsity players and coaches Chris Lee and Keith Randa.  The camp is held on the fields just north of Apple Valley High School. 

  • For players going into grades 1-2, 11am-Noon each day.  Cost is $40 ($45 after June 1)
  • For players going into grades 3-8, 11am to 1pm each day.  Cost is $65 ($75 after June 1)

All proceeds benefit the AVHS Soccer program.
