U.S. Soccer recognizes that there are many ways to teach our young people the game of soccer.  The methodology in the U.S. Soccer coaching curriculum offers a broad based methodology that ranges from a directed to a more guided approach. Regardless of the particular style or methodology, I feel there are basic concepts, characteristics and foundational ways to effectively run your training sessions while progressing to game management.

Valley United Soccer Club has adopted the U.S. Soccer Coaching Curriculum along with the U.S. Youth Soccer's Technical Development Plan to help our coaches refine their approach to teaching and coaching this game we all love.
