Join Us For The 4th Annual Valley Tune-Up Festival!
The 4th annual Valley Tune-up Festival (known as "VTU") is open to U9-U18 teams in all Classic and Gold/Maroon brackets. Held the weekend before league play-offs begin, this is a great way to maximize your soccer play for a minimum investment of money and time. Here are the details:
- Dates: Saturday, July 7 and Sunday, July 8, 2012
(your team will play five hours on one day or the other, not both days) - Age Groups: Open to U9-U18 MYSA teams
- Brackets: For Gold, Maroon, Classic 1, 2 and 3 levels
- MYSA Sanctioned and Full 3-Man Referee System for all U11-U18 Games
- Registration Fee: $295/team for U11-U18; $220/ team for U9/10
- Tournament Locations: two complexes in Apple Valley-
Johnny Cake Soccer Complex (at Johnny Cake Ridge Road and 140th Street)
Quarry Point Park (Pilot Knob Road & 160th St)
Teams will be bracketed in groups of four, in as close of competitive levels as we can arrange. Each team will play three 50-minute scrimmages (two 25-minute halves) in a round-robin format over 5 hours:
- Hour 1: A vs. B, C vs. D
- Hour 2: Rest
- Hour 3: A vs. C, B vs. D
- Hour 4: Rest
- Hour 5: A vs. D, B vs. C
There will be no awards given and no t-shirts to buy -- just lots of soccer for those teams wanting to prepare for league play-off and state play, or for those teams that are looking for a great way to cap off a great season with one last tournament. We hope you'll join us!!
